Message On behalf of my family and I, we would like to voice our SUPPORT for the Costco
proposed @ Chinden Blvd & Ten Mile Rd. I have been following the proposal from
the public announcement through today and have reviewed all publicly available
aspects and firmly believe that the overall benefits outweigh what appear to be
nearsighted "not in my backyard" types of objections. I appreciate their right to voice
their concerns and objections but most of them appear to be aligned with the types of
concerns and objections voiced by citizens who buy or build near an airport then
complain about the previously known flight path lines. As developments such as their
own were being built everyone knew that expansion of major thoroughfares would be
required with one of those being Chinden Blvd, aka State Highway 20/26. Growth
comes with infrastructure needs so seeking one while attempting to constrain and
impede the other is counterproductive and simply self-serving.
