Message I completely support Costco's proposal to locate a store on the southwest corner of
Chinden and Ten Mile. We are in definite need of this retail store in Meridian. While
I would prefer a store at Ten Mile and Franklin, I can understand why this will not
work well for the company. In answer to the complaints from nearby residents, I see
them as being rather self centered. We have lived in this home for 37 years and have
seen MANY changes come to Meridian. We did not want the development of Cherry
Lane many years ago or the more recent development of Meridian Road. However, if
they had not been developed, all of those people out on Ten Mile and Chinden would
not have had the access to Meridian they now enjoy. This proposed Costco is one of
the best Meridian proposals.
