Subject Proposed Costco Location in Meridian
Message Dear Mayor and Council,
I am writing in support of the proposed location for the new Costco in Meridian. I am
super excited that this is being considered! I understand that some people are
concerned about increased traffic in the area, but honestly, I think that is already
happening. We have lived in Meridian many years, and when we first moved here
there was nothing but farmland as far as the eye could see. That is no longer the case.
Meridian is growing by leaps and bounds, and we must keep up with the demand.
Having a new Costco in our area is part of that plan.
As a long time Meridian citizen, and a voter, I am asking you to approve the
application for the new Costco and the widening of Ten Mile and Chinden Rds.
