Subject Proposed Costco Meridian
Message I am unable to attend the planning meeting scheduled for March 1st but would like to
express that I am in support of this proposed Costco location. This location would
serve many current Costco Boise and current Costco Nampa shoppers who live in
Meridian, Eagle and even Star. This would mean decreased traffic for routes to these
existing Costco locations. I understand the concerns with increased traffic and noise
to nearby subdivisions. Unfortunately, because Meridian has and continues to grow so
quickly, any location would have cons. I don’t see any way to avoid building close to
a residential area in Meridian. Widening Chinden Blvd and areas of Ten Mile is a
must do to help alleviate the burden. Thanks for allowing my input.
