Here's what they had to say: 2 Request for Mayor and Council Name Nicole Alves _replyto colea7086@gmail.com Street Address 1001 W Lowry St City Meridian State ID Zip Code 83646 Subject Proposed Costco Location Message My family and I are newer to the Meridian area. We relocated from the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area in June of 2017. We feel blessed to have purchased a home in such a beautiful area and look forward to our future. Time is valuable to my little family. My husband travels 26 weeks a year for work and I work in the medical field with plans to return to school full time in the spring. Traveling out of the way to shop at a Costco and often spending valuable time as it is overcrowded. There are two Costco locations in the Treasure Valley. There is roughly 410k people in just Boise, Meridian and Nampa alone. This is an inconvenience to all community members. I myself have teenage boys and Costco seems to be the best value for our dollar and yields quantity. Aside from being selfish, we look forward to the other business this mix-use project brings. This is sure to create more jobs and generate more revenue for in the North Meridian area. We fully support the projected build of Chindon/ 10 Mile Costco. We promise to be patient as improvements are made to accommodate this project. Thank you, The Alves Family This form was submitted at 10:47 PM UTC - 26 February 2018.
