Costco has shown themselves to be good neighbors in commercial areas. We think they would make a good addition to
the city of Meridian. The residents in the nearby subdivisions knew that the corner of Chinden and Ten Mile was zoned
for commercial use when they bought their homes.
We recognize the negative traffic impact of this but if we wait for IDT to improve Chinden Blvd. all residential and
commercial development on that corridor would have to stop. We feel that the positive impact far outweighs the
negatives for adding Costco to our community. We therefore support the building of Costco at Chinden and Ten Mile.
