Subject Costco planned for Meridian
Message We would like to express our SUPPORT for approving a Costco location at Ten Mile
and Chinden. Traffic should not drastically increase as shoppers are already traveling
on these streets to go shopping at Walmart, Fred Meyer, or to either of the existing
Costco locations in Boise/Nampa. Chinden corners are obviously best used for
commercial or mixed-use activity, and no one should have expectations otherwise. I
believe that Costco would be a good neighbor, and an asset to the area. Getting a
little tired of people moving here and then complaining about growth.
