Subject Support for New Costco!
Message I am so excited for the new Costco planned for Chinden and Ten Mile. There are so
many benefits that will come with it - the additional products and services it provides,
the tax revenue, the widening of the roads, and many others. The positives far
outweigh the negatives. With every new major project (e.g., Walmart, apartments,
LDS temple) there are some in opposition but in the end the project is a success and
the majority of the residents are happy with the way things turn out. This is the same
with this Costco. I think its great concerned citizens voice their recommendations for
improvement, but not to completely oppose something like this that provides a great
service. Maybe Costco needs to make a few concessions, which is fine, but it should
be allowed. We visit Costco about every two weeks and the stores in Boise and
Nampa are packed. This location is perfect for those in North Meridian, Star, and
Eagle.
