Subject New Costco at Chinden and Ten mile
Message As a forty year resident of Meridian I can remember when we could not buy clothes
for our kids in Meridian, we had to go to Boise to get them. Now as the city has
grown we can shop for all the various things we need here in town. All except
Costco. We still have to go to either Boise or Nampa. The proposed Costco in
Meridian would help keep our shopping local. Additionally it would keep Meridian
dollars in Meridian as well as bring in some dollars from areas outside of town. For
these reasons my wife and I would like the City council to approve the new Costco at
the proposed location.
