Message Meridian has been in a growth stage for several years and it appears that this growth
has accelerated. It is vitally important that we set our plans to accommodate this
growth either before it hits or at least to parallel it. It would be foolish to put off
improvements and business accommodations to a more convenient time frame. I have
lived in this area for over 20 years and noted the "catch up" structure. We are smart
enough to be ahead or on time with improvements and accommodations. As such I
am urging the City Council and Planning and Zoning to approve the Costco project at
Linder and Chinden. However, be absolutely sure to think ahead for traffic load and
flow.
