Question or Comment We are very concerned about the possibility of a Cosco at Chinden & 10 Mile Roads.
We have lived in SpurWing less than two years and have seen the traffic increase
immensely. Now we have a church soon to be built and another neighborhood in the
works. Bainbridge has not been completed to date.
Coming home on Chinden during the evening is so backed up that it takes an
incredible amount of time to just get home. With a Cosco, it will be horrendous. Why
is it that Meridian is not conside ring responsible growth? Do we really want a mixture
of heavy industrial mixed in with residential. A grocery store is responsible, but a
Cosco warehouse is not, especially at that location. The location should be near a
freeway exit, so the traffic does not impact residential areas.
Chinden cannot sustain this amount of traffic, especially with only single lanes. It is
our understanding that the roads we not be widened down to 10 Mile Road until 2022.
Please know that we are definitely NOT in favor of a Cosco at Chinden & 10 Mile
Roads. The impact will be very negative to all the neighborhoods that border
Chinden.
