I was lamenting the possibility of a Costco going in close to our community of SpurWing Greens. She said I should contact you as you were a very honest person who will listen to me. We residents are against the undoing of our comprehensive plan which would allow a big box store on the land located at 10 Mile and Chinden. Traffic on an already stressed infrastructure, noise, property values, quality of life are all factors of deep concern. The most disturbing is the possibility of a large corporation or developers with deep pockets who can trash the very comprehensive plan we, as home buyers, trusted. Please consider thoughtfully the impact this will have on several of your finest communities. I know others who live farther away from the sight are simply gleeful that they would be able to buy those hot dogs and strawberry sundaes faster than if they had to travel to Nampa or Boise. I have read such remarks on Nextdoor! Certainly there are other locations which would satisfy Costco and relieve the worries of homeowners. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
