Subject: Rezoning/Costco
Hello Mr. Coles,
My wife and I have recently purchased a new home in the Bainbridge subdivision. We are finally getting settled in and
were dismayed to discover that the adjacent property has been the subject of rezoning discussions. When we made our
decision to live here, we were aware that some commercial and residential development was going to occur at the
intersection of Ten Mile and Chinden. We knew going in that the master plan zoning densities and traffic impacts were
acceptable to us. We’ve watched this area grow up and traffic flow slow down significantly in the past few years. We are
concerned about the increase of commercial truck traffic in our neighborhood as well as short cut through traffic
through our streets. We view the resulting impacts caused by the rezoning to the aforementioned site as a huge
negative and will therefore oppose any effort to achieve the change in zoning.
We hope that you will give serious consideration to our objections and those of other residents opposed to the
proposed rezoning of this land.
We would welcome a response, should you have any input for us.
Thank you for your time.
Respectfully , Emmett &Julie
