Yes, I think you answered my question. Since Linder Village is an open application, the Mayor and City Council are
prohibited from commenting outside the public hearing. If you have questions or ideas about process, I can certainly
help to set up a meeting with the appropriate staff member in our Community Development department. We take
public feedback seriously and want you to know that we have read your comments.
Your email has been forwarded to our City Clerk and will be included in the public record. We’d encourage you to check
our website, meridiancity.org, for information regarding the public hearing process and invite you to attend the
hearing(s) on this issue.

I had been a fly on the wall during a couple City Council Meetings. During the process I heard input from the neighbors,
saw the design and wanted to see if the mayor was hearing the same thing as I was hearing. I don’t hold official
capacity and was approaching on behalf of my own questions after witnessing the hearings.
I don’t represent anyone other than myself in this request and was fascinated by the process. The goal is to meet and
discuss what type of things that would contribute in a positive way to the City of Meridian’s long term plan. I missed
one of the meetings but was mostly confused at the disconnect between Design elements and what many Residents
were asking for.
Mostly curiosity so I’m trying to take the time to be more involved. If I’m going about this wrong- I can rescind my
request to meet and forget all about it. I truly appreciated what I saw and the time and deliberation a project this size
gets, while being considered. Hope I answered.
