All,
Please check on this link and read:

At the P & Z hearing one of the commissioners kept stating he did not like what was presented,
and would like to see a newer concept - the lifestyle type mall that is becoming very popular
around the country. He stated he had been to a number of them, and I have as well. They are
not only for shopping, but a gathering place as well. They are aesthetically pleasing, and all of
the buildings are to scale.
I was thinking possibly the developer would take action and visit some of them around the
country for inspiration. In viewing the latest revision of the plan, I was very disappointed that
was not the case, and urge the City Council to deny the project.
Anxious to see that acreage developed into something that will be an asset to the
community.. While I love Winco, I shop at Winco, I have friends who work at Winco. I applaud
their business model and admire they treat their employees well; that in my opinion does not
mean they can be exempt from following the city plan. Their square footage is too large.

In the new plan they show proposed restaurants near the huge big box Winco. We need more
nice sit down restaurants on this side of town. Nicer restaurants are rarely located near big
box stores such as Winco.
