He stated he had been to a number of them, and I have as well. They are not only for shopping, but a gathering place as well. They are aesthetically pleasing, and all of the buildings are to scale. I was thinking possibly the developer would take action and visit some of them around the country for inspiration. In viewing the latest revision of the plan, I was very disappointed that was not the case, and urge the City Council to deny the project. Anxious to see that acreage developed into something that will be an asset to the community.. While I love Winco, I shop at Winco, I have friends who work at Winco. I applaud their business model and admire they treat their employees well; that in my opinion does not mean they can be exempt from following the city plan. Their square footage is too large. 2 In the new plan they show proposed restaurants near the huge big box Winco. We need more nice sit down restaurants on this side of town.
