When we moved here five years ago, we chose this area because of its dynamic nature and the wonderful neighborhood Brighton has developed. We knew other areas would eventually be developed and have counted on these parcels to be in line with a well thought out plan. Please consider our level of trust in you - to plan and implement development in a growing community. We love our neighbors and acknowledge the rare treat we have to encompass many schools, churches, and businesses within such a small area. I am against the current plan that the developer of the Linder Village has proposed. We do not want more lights on Chinden, we don't want thru traffic from the high school past our homes (these are new drivers who make a lot of mistakes and are quite distracted), and we do not want the noise and confusion a large Commercial district would bring. Development is welcome and anticipated. Please stick to the long term plan you put in place and keep this corner a Community Commercial area, not a General Commercial area (which could include light commercial). We should also be given a good buffer of homes like ours, then some homes which are denser (R-8) before any small commercial buildings are incorporated in this development. When city planning, current residents, and new development work together responsibly, every one wins. 2 Thank you for your consideration, Wendy McKinney 1225 W. Bacall Street, 83646
