Thank you, Morgan From: Tracy Killeen [ mailto:tkilleen@hotmail.com ] Sent: Wednesday, July 26, 2017 4:29 PM To: mayortammy Subject: Proposed Linder Village Zoning Mayor de Weerd: I am writing to ask you to deny the re-zoning of the SE corner of Linder/Chinden. I am a homeowner in the Paramount Subdivision and one of the main features that drew us to the area was the lack of big box and 24 hour stores in the vicinity. This area is already heavily populated and the roads overburdened. This is the situation before taking into account the Senior Living and apartments which are both currently under development. Considering the four schools in and directly across from Paramount residents are already challenged with the amount of traffic and safety concerns for both children and drivers. Trying to get access to the businesses on Chinden is tricky depending on the time of day. I often go elsewhere for those same services for this reason. If you change the zoning to C-G, you will be directly and adversely impacting the quality of life for many of the existing residents of Paramount and surrounding areas. The high school already provides a noise issue for most of the development anytime there's an outdoor event. I accept this as part of living in this development but did not sign up for additional noise and traffic and all that accompanies C-G zoned businesses. Anyone who is on NextDoor knows that the community also struggles with the lack of carefulness of drivers in this family-oriented community. Stop signs seem to be more of a suggestion than a command. Adding the type of traffic that C-G zoned businesses will attract will aggravate the existing issues exponentially. Please stick to the original city plan that we all expected and agreed to when we purchased our homes and leave this area zoned as Mixed Use. Respectfully, Tracy & Sean Killeen 885 W.
