Meridian City Council,
I have been a homeowner in Paramount for the past 5 years. Having lived throughout the United State during
my lifetime I have witnessed first hand the detrimental effects of uncontrolled growth at the hands of
developers.
I’m concerned that I will be experiencing this once again. I’m not opposed to growth, but it can be done in a
manner that accentuates and area rather than degrades it.
I have seen the effects of a well designed development plan as compared to one which allows the developer
free-reign. Free-reign rarely produces anything other than a strip-mall. Allowing developers carte blanche will
inevitably turn this section of Chinden into the Garden City version.
Please don’t rezone this area.
